The IONIQ 5 allows Henderson drivers to easily select their ideal blend of power, range, and value with three available battery/driveline configurations. The entry-level SE Standard Range model equips a rear-wheel-drive motor making 168 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, with a 58-kWh battery enabling an EPA-estimated 220-mile range. All other RWD models produce 225 horsepower and use a 77.4-kWh battery to provide an EPA range of 303 miles. Finally, dual-motor AWD models boost output to 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet and have an estimated range of 256 miles.

The IONIQ 5's quick charging capability makes it practical for local Carthage commutes, as well as extended excursions. It can replenish its battery in under seven hours using Level 2 (240-volt, 11-kW) equipment for everyday driving. And on longer road trips, you'll appreciate that the IONIQ 5 is one of the few currently available models with ultra-fast 350-kW capability. It can add 68 miles of range in just five minutes at a compatible charging station, refilling from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes.

Design and Interior

The IONIQ 5 showcases Hyundai's future-focused aspirations with coupe-like exterior styling highlighted by dramatic panel sculpting, a chiseled V-shaped front bumper, and dynamic Parametric Pixel LED headlights. On the inside, the capacious and classy cabin exhibits refined detailing, quality materials, and ample passenger room in both rows.
