Check Out the Exquisite New Hyundai Sonata
The Hyundai Sonata has long been one of the best-selling midsize sedans in America, and the refreshed design combines a sporty and luxurious look with ultra-futuristic elements that'll make the new Hyundai Sonata one of the most unique rides on the highway. Car buyers from Carthage to Kilgore and Jacksonville who want an exquisite sedan that's worth the excitement are invited to talk to our team at Perry Hyundai about the new Hyundai Sonata.
What's New?
The 2026 Hyundai Sonata introduces three new trim levels-Blue Hybrid, SEL Sport FWD, and SEL Sport AWD-replacing the outgoing SEL and SEL Convenience. A panoramic sunroof becomes available on the SEL Hybrid, and the SEL Sport gains a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, and a wireless charging pad.
The cabin adds a wider digital display running the new Hyundai Pleos OS, multicolor ambient lighting, and expanded phone-as-key capability. Over-the-air update support increases, and adaptive driver-assist features are now available on lower trims. The new AWD options mark a significant performance addition for the Hyundai Sonata lineup.
Exterior Design
The Hyundai Sonata's profile features a sporty take on the traditional sedan, featuring black trim that contrasts with the body color, for a chic appearance, especially when paired with the optional panoramic sunroof. The front end features a large grille and air dam combination that extends to the vehicle's bottom. It features angular lines and a geometric design that evokes the high-end European supercars.
Combined with the single and always-on LED headlamp that spans the entire width from side to side, the design makes the Hyundai Sonata capture attention around Carthage. A second set of more traditional headlamps provides high and low beams for increased visibility in low-light conditions.
Interior Comfort Amenities
Complementing the Hyundai Sonata exterior design, the interior dash features straight lines and contrasting trim colors, giving it a more modern appearance. It also combines the digital instrument cluster with the infotainment display for a unified visual. Silver accents adorn key features, including the climate control system's tactile knobs.
Bucket-style seats hold passengers snugly in place as you travel through Longview. A sport-inspired seating style is also available for the N-Line trim. The seating options include cloth, premium cloth, and leather upholstery.
Performance Capabilities
The gas-powered Hyundai Sonata powertrain features a 2.5-liter engine that makes 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. The N Line trim is powered by a special turbocharged 2.5-liter powertrain that delivers up to 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque on drives through Whitehouse.
The standard Hyundai Sonata configuration has a front-wheel drive (FWD) with an eight-speed automatic transmission, but all-wheel drive (AWD) is available for the SEL Sport trim. You'll get a combined fuel economy of up to 38 mpg, and slightly less in AWD variants, reaching a combined 33 mpg.
Technology
A 12.3-inch touchscreen display is standard in all models, and Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, SiriusXM®, and HD Radio™. Audio comes from a six-speaker sound system, but Center, TX, area shoppers will enjoy a 12-speaker premium Bose® audio system, dynamic voice recognition, and integrated navigation by choosing the top N Line and Limited Hybrid trims.
